Anima Restaurant

Can Pastilla has become one of the latest trendy and funky places in Palma since the now disappeared El Cielo (which closed to be converted in to the Puro Beach Club) opened its doors some years ago. Now Anima Sea Lounge launches as a new freshly place in this area.

Anima is not the typical restaurant. A wooden terrace and a spectacular design which mixes the most Italian vanguard, plenty of white and gold lines, with Japanese and Bali manners, overlooking the Cala Estancia beach and offering wonderful views in a peaceful ambient.

Marco Di Loreto, born in Italy but now a proud mallorcan, has been working in the industry for many years and under his experience we found from a French Relais Chateu to modern restaurants in Japan. Now, he is applying all this years of constructive work in this new lounge restaurant by the sea.

Author cuisine not only for gourmets. The menu is open to all kind of public and uses oriental ingredients to make fresh, new and innovative dishes but based on Mediterranean products. Delicious fresh pasta and salads, but also great fish and meat dishes for those looking for something stronger.

The interior of the local is worth well a look and sure it will be good enough during these few colder months in Mallorca.

It quite strange there are not more restaurants opening in this forgotten area of Palma’s bay, once a forthcoming residential area, once a tourist resort, that now is just becoming lost but that pretty sure will have a prompt rebirth.

Funny enough the Anima Restaurant (formerly known as Anima Sea Lounge) website lucks of the brilliant taste of the place, and while sure they will take of this care of this, it does not really matter as the place worth the visit.
