Pacha Mallorca to be renamed Abraxas

Pacha Mallorca, who was no longer authorized by the brand owners to use their name, has already choose a new one for the emblematic disco in Palma's Paseo Maritimo.

As reported on news before , Pacha was soon to change its name and everyone was wondering which would be the new one.

Those who know the island from years would be maybe now wondering how a sacrilege like that can be done. The choose name, Abraxas, has been taken from the mythic discotheque set up in a windmill at the Es Jonquet hill on the early 70's and represents the early stages of Palma's nightlife: crazy nights until early in the morning (after hours has not been invented on the latest years here) shared with the few first famous visitors of the island.

The rebirth of the name Abraxas is also but a good adviertisement movement and a good idea. But let's give them a chance and see if they are able to honour the name.
