Jazz Voyeur Festival

From July the 29th and for six months Mallorca will be home to the Jazz Voyeur Festival. Celebrities like George Benson, Paquito de Rivera, Bebo Valdés, Rosa Passos or the band Kool & Gang will be playing in the island in diferent locations like the Auditorium or the Gran Casino Mallorca.

Organized by Gerardo Cañellas and Roberto Menéndez, this year there will not be a fixed place for the concerts and they will be alternating from Calvia to Palma. The list of musicans is not closed yet, but at least we do know when the best ones will be playing.

George Benson will start the Jazz Voyeur Festival on the 29th of July at the Gran Casino de Mallorca in Calvia. Born in Pittsburgh in 1943, Benson is one the greatest jazz musicians around the world.

Kool and the Gang will be presenting his last album "Review of the Hits: Reloaded" on the 10th of October also at he Gran Casino in Calvia.

During this jazz festival cuban musician Paquito de Rivera will be celebrating its 50 years in an special concert where he will accompanied by (but not only) Bebo Valdés, Rosa Passos and Chano Domínguez. The date: 31st of October at the Auditorium of Palma, in the Paseo Maritimo.
