Benjamin Habichuela - Flamenco Jazz

Flamenco is a way to say Spain. But to find a place with flamenco in Mallorca is a matter of luck. In fact, there is not really any place dedicated to flamenco in Palma.

However, and from a few weeks ago, people visiting the Van Gogh Cafe during thursday nights will be delighted with live flamenco jazz music by the hands of Benjamin Habichuela.

Benjamin is the youngest of the Habichuela family, a well know family in the guitar and flamenco scene. Pepe Habichuela his uncle, is also the father for 2 of the members of Ketama, a popular spanish flamenco band.

The show will begin around 23:00. Stop there for light dinner or a drink (nice cocktails there). The atmosphere: local from all ages in the outdoor patio.

Update: Benjamin Habichuela is no longer playing at Van Gogh Cafe. However, it can stil be found playing some days at the Barcelona Cafe in La Lonja.
