Mallorca - Majorca Weather

Mallorca's weather is a dream. Sunny during nearly all year, the worst months usually are January and February, with low temperatures and some rains.

You have most probably heard a lot about Mallorca's weather, but the most important think you have to keep in mind is that Mallorca's air is ever wet, it is humid. In summer, 35º Celsius degrees make you feel here like burning. Your skin will be all time wet. And during the winter, no matter how much you wear yourself, if its cold (around 10 degrees) it will not be enough.

But do not get scared, this is just a point. As said at the beginning our weather is a dream. Have you ever been on Christmas walking around just with a short slaves T-Shirt?

My personal advice is to come during the spring or the fall and avoid July and August. August is that hot in Mallorca that you can not walk on the sand on the beaches, or at least be ready to do it jumping like a frog or kangaroo.

If your plans (or your boss!) makes these months the only suitables, at least try to do not come at the end of August. Tropical storms are not unsual at this time and while the temperature is fine, you will be thinking what hell is happening with the weather.

Once you are advised, you can check the following links with great information about the current weather and the forecast for the next days in Mallorca, so you are informed to what to do to avoid the hotel. They are pretty good and I do use them myself to keep informed:
