Mallorca Inland Transportation: Taxis Fares

Mallorca inland transport service is unfortunately not good as it should be, so sometimes is better to move by taxi so you do not have to depend on the limited timetables of the public transport.

Whem coming from the airport you should avoid if possible buses, and in fact if you arrive late during the night they will not be an option. In case your Mallorca hotel or accommodation place can not arrange a transfer to pick you up, then you will only have the possibility to pick up a taxi.

There will be a lot at the Mallorca airport waiting at arrivals, so you should not worry about this.

Following you can find a list of the approximate rates that taxis will charge you for the most usuall destinations, but please advise that these fares are approximate and not fixed, and that the final price you will pay can vary, so do not rely on them to make your budget.

Also, you should know that taxi drivers in Mallorca do not carry change for more than 20 Euro, so keep in mind to have some notes to pay. Nearly no one accept payment by credit card, do not rely on it for payment.

Finally, if you are coming with a group of friends, or simply if you want to get peace of mind knowing someone will be waiting for you, I would highly recommend to book your transfer in advance yourself if your hotel doesn't want do it on your behalf. Majorca Airport Transfers offers a highly valuable online booking service for just a few bucks more than a normal taxi. Prebooking your transfer transport means they will be waiting for you and, also, you could ask any specials such as baby seats (which no taxi of those waiting at arrivals carries).
