Hotel Dalt Murada

The Hotel Dalt Murada, located in the hearth of Palma's old town and next to the Cathedral, is built on an old manor house and features only eight rooms, five of them suites. Dalt Murada means "up the wall", and there you will find the hotel, up the old city walls which once protected mallorcans from pirates and crusaders.l

The original building of the Dalt Murada was a marvellous sixteenth century mansion that, while converted in to one of Palma best hotels, keeps the original feeling and decoration of this original mallorcan construction.

Every room is named after a Mallorquin painter, all of them elegantly decorated with the original furniture and with many facilities and different from the others. The suites have a separated living room and views either over the Cathedral or the Garden courtyard, where the breakfast is served if weather permits. The rates goes from 140 Euro for the cheapes double room and up to 300 hundred for the Penthouse suite, whihc has a private terrace with impressive views.

The Dalt Murada Hotel is a family run hotel offering the highest standards of comfort on its rooms, as well as the terrace and garden, and an exemplary and friendly service with a personal touch.

The only drawback is that being situated in the centre, where driving is restricted, makes arriving to the hotel by car a little bit difficult. However, ask the staff for directions and procedures as this can be easily solved.
