Hotel Ciutat Jardi - Ciudad Jardin

Situated in the Molinar neighbourhood in Palma de Mallorca, the Ciutat Jardi is built on an old Mallorca palace and now completely refurbished in to a peaceful and absolutely charming place.

The hotel has 20 double rooms in total, and most of them with views to beach (called the Panorama rooms) and Palma's bay. Hotel Ciutat Jardi is a nice place if what you are looking for your vacations is a peaceful place to relax but not far from the city. Rooms are spacious and not too much over designed.

Among the normal facilities to expect in a hotel in its category there are pluses such as the Jacuzzi in all rooms, bikes for free (nice for a ride in to Palma's centre, only 4km from the hotel by a special way along the sea front), pool area and a a la carte pillows (just choose from the menu).

Rate per room per night, including breakfast (but not the 7% tax), goes from about 140 Euro for a standard double to 180 Euro for a double with view to the Mediterranean and the beach. Ask them, as they also have rooms with a terrace and what is called the "cupula", the room on the top floor.

For conference services and meetings the Salón Bigaire is a nice place: greatly illuminated with natural light during nearly all day, allow meetings up to 150 people.

While it is located in a predominantly residential, there are a good number of lively restaurants close by which worth a visit, such as Casa Fernando or El Bungalow among many others good ones, mainly (but not only) for fish.
