Puro Hotel

It is really dificult to give an opinion of the Puro Hotel: some find it charming, luxurious, and fantastic, while some do noisy & pretentious. Let's go then with the goods & bad, so you can have a better idea and choose by yourself on which side are you.

The goods

You are young (or you consider you are and live that way) and look for something diferent, really new and luxurious. You are coming to stay quick weekend, have some fun and enjoy Palma's night life. Then this is your place.

Puro hotel offers comfy & spacious designed rooms with an indian touch, large bathrooms and Bose sound systems in all rooms. Clean lines, white walls and a superb location.

On the ground floor, one of Palma's most lively bars and a the Opio restaurant" offering a mix of Mediterranean and Indian cuisine. Situated in the center of Palma, it has become the place "to see and be seen".

During the night many visitors come to have a drink and they have a nice dj playing till 2.00 am from Thursday to Saturday. Here you will find those to know if Palma's nightlife.

The bads

So you are coming to have a relaxing week in the Island... ok, then forget all said above.

Puro is luxurious, may be to much for its own. Style is over function in the rooms and you will not have space to hang your clothes. Suposed to be so good, it is let down on the details.

Having only 26 rooms, it is so open to the public that it guests become somewhat strangers. Noisy during the nights, there is no way to relax having a drink as most probably there will be no place at all to do it. The bar is ever packed.

By the way, being in the center means that there will be no place at all to park you rental car and, in fact, it is on a blue area so you will have to leave it at the Parque del Mar parking and pay for that.

Oh! and forget to come with your children. This is not at all the place for them.
