Esplendido Hotel Soller - Majorca

Esplendido Hotel is located in the beginning of the Port of Soller, right in front on the sea with impressive views all over the bay.

The Esplendido used to be the best hotel in the Port of Soller for the last 50 years, but it fall down on the last decade losing all the charming it has once.

Recently bought by the Swedish Landstrom family, now it is planned to get the hotel alive from its sleeping state.

While the refurbishing is still being finisehd at this time, the sister to the Portixol Hotel did a soft preopening last year which impressed the most of the visitors. Now, this 6^thof April 2006, they are doing their Grand Opening of the Esplendido Hotel.

84 rooms including penthouses and suites, most of them facing the sea with either terrace or balcony, and combining the swedish soul with the charming of the mediterranean. The nordic simply lines are mixed here with the mediterranean, but keeping the hotel notably more chic in style than the Portixol.

The Esplendido Bistro on the ground floor is fab and offers a relaxed atmosphere for both lunch and dinner, serving many quality dishes cathering all tastes.

The beauty area of the Esplendido is set up on the top floor and includes massages, beauty treatments, steaming and dry sauna and, a small jacuzzi pool and a well equipped gym. A must do: enjoy the views of the small bay from the front facing window in the sauna.

Esplendido is also family friendly, but in good way, so perfect for both those wanting to relax but also for children. Soller is a quiet place and you can chill out safe and in peace there.
