Van Gogh Cafe

If you are tired of touristy places and want an inexpensive and local atmosphere, it could be a good idea to go and check this café-bar-restaurant.

Managed by two young boys, the atmosphere here is quite and friendly. You could easily turn in to a great friend of the house.

Not really far away for the Paseo Maritimo Capuccino’s (about 10 minutes walking distance), you will find this house converted and refurbished in to a nice and somewhat stylish place. Its patio does now the work for the terrace, which is greatly closed during the winter so you it can still be used during the winter.

More than a restaurant, this is a great place to have some drinks and, if you hungry, have one of their specialities, merely pizzas & pasta.

During the weekends their kitchen turns also into a great grill, so if you are a meat lover but do not want to spend much money, you can ever have a piece of barbequed meat while keeping your pocket safe.

Thurdays are slightly different here, when you can have a drink and listen to the live music. This site is one of these few where you will still find Spanish guitars. Update: by now, they no longer have live music on Thurday.

Also, do not forget to taste one of their cocktails. You will get surprised.
