Yach Rental: Big Budget

So here we are. You are looking to hire a yacht and have money enough for a good one. You need a special one as you will be spending probably more than a day on trip and you require it to have many and good facilities.

A 74 Manhattan Sunseeker on Majorca's seaMany companies offers good sailing and motor boat rental service here the island an if you are a saling man sure you will easily find them. I have my favourites ones but many times it really depends on what you are looking for. If you have a special type of yacht in mind then you should do some checks or just begin asking at first so someone points you to right one.

Also, if you do not want to really move far away from where you are, its main base location is something to keep in mind. Anyway, what really matters is the ratio quality - fares - service.

As yachting is big money bussines, I have consulted Javier, a friend of mine and experienced sailor, who although outside of the hiring bussines know most of the companies working in Mallorca for this article. I do know and have worked with some, but having an external "consultant" so kick me a little on this was great when writting this.

Let's recommend some:

Prima Boats : I have personally worked with them a few times and I was impressed by its service. They clearly state their policies so there are no surprises and have been good enoough to leave everybody I helped to rent with them more than happy. Based in the Puerto of Andratx the have nice Sunseekers from 1.000 Euro to 4.000 Euro.

Yates Alemanes : (German Yachts) With their office on the Club de Mar (Palma's Bay) this company is great as they have a wide range opf boats to offer at a good rate. Their website luckly is not bad, and there they show many photos of its boats and its interior design, as well as the technical detals of each one. And while many charterbases on the island just close down, they do not, and always have some boats in the water ready to sail the Majorcan winter. And do not worry, Majorca is ok to sail in the winter and, anyway, most of the boats are equipped with diesel heating systems.

A tip: go and check their offers. If per example someone has to cancel some companies put its boat on a last minute offer to at least get some profit of it. High season bussines is quite short for rental companies and try to be as busy as possible.

So you find this too expensive for you maybe? Continue by reading the next part of th article:
