Illetas Beach - Virtual Club

When in Palma you are really quite near to get a little bit dissapointed. There are not really nice beaches around, just city ones, and to find one you have to drive at least to Calvia or around.

However, from a few years ago to now, you have the Virtual Club Beach at Illetas.

Illetas, that takes its name from the small illes (islands) are fact 3 small beaches, one next to each other and separated by small promenades of rocks. The Virtual Club Beach is on a small promenade on the left side of Illetas, next to the biggest of the small beaches.

Going there takes no more than 15 minutes driving, but as well it can be also reached by taking bus number 3 at Plaza de España. If going by taxi, you can also tell the driver to go to La Cueva de Illetas (Illetas cave), which was its name many many years ago, when used to be a tourist resort on the 70's.

Combinating sun with comfort, on this Beach Club you can lay on a sunbed and have a variety of services, including cocktails and fresh fruits. The price you pay for a day (I think is something around 6-8 Euro) really worths the visiteraly in the morning, this is also the place for a nice small seaside breakfast. Sunbeds are set up on two different levels and there you can also enjoy the "cafeteria" service.

They do also have a nice restaurant serving a variety of rices and fish, and during the night they have a nice dinner restaurant and a nightclub in to a cave. But we will talk about this on a near future.
